PU HCBF organizes 14th graduation ceremony - PU VC inaugurates 154-KW solar panel at HCBF LAHORE: (Friday, January 31, 2025): Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali has said that we are paying special attention to character building of students and taking steps to promote sports, co-curricular activities, music, drama and cultural programs along with education and research. He was addressing the 14th graduation ceremony organized by Punjab University Hailey College of Banking & Finance (HCBF) here on Friday. On this occasion, Dean Faculty of Commerce Prof Dr Mubbasher Munawar Khan, HCBF Principal Dr Ahmed Muneeb Mehta, Registrar Dr Ahmed Islam, faculty members, students and their parents were present. In his address, Prof Dr Muhammad Ali said that the work of Dr Ahmed Muneeb Mehta for the development and up gradation of HCBF is commendable. He said that as VC, his effort is to improve the financial affairs of PU and provide an environment where students can study without any fear. He said that we should not forget those who serve humanity because the real success lies in serving mankind. He said that any classroom or hall of HCBF will be named after Sir Ganga Ram. He said that the VC’s Office at Allama Iqbal Campus (Old Campus) will be named after Sadiq Khan Abbasi. He said that universities are the places where you can learn everything. He said that solarization in Hailey College of Banking & Finance is a good initiative and soon the entire university will be solarized. He said that awareness of global issues and a sense of environmental responsibility are essential among the graduating students. He congratulated the students who received degrees and medals, their teachers and parents. Prof Dr Mubbasher Munawar Khan said that it is a pleasure to hold a memorable ceremony at HCBF premises. He advised the students to apply what they have learned in the university in practical life and serve the country and nation. Dr Ahmed Muneeb Mehta said that he congratulated the graduating students of PU HCBF, their teachers and parents. He said that after obtaining the degree, they should work with full confidence in their professional life and move forward. In the ceremony, 57 students of BBA (Hons), session 2020-24, were presented with degrees and medals. Earlier, PU VC Prof Dr Muhammad Ali inaugurated a 154-KW solar panel at HCBF.
