The Iqbal Academy Pakistan, in collaboration with the Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center Pakistan and the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, successfully organized the International Rumi & Iqbal Conference 2025.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Learning, University of the Punjab Lahore, attended the conference as a distinguished participant. The session was graced by Federal Minister Mr. Ahsan Iqbal, who served as the chief guest.
During his address, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran highlighted the significance of interpreting the teachings and philosophies of Rumi and Iqbal, emphasizing that scholars should not only explore their poetry but also derive solutions to contemporary problems faced by Muslims worldwide from their works.
The conference provided a platform for intellectual discourse on the spiritual and literary contributions of Rumi and Iqbal, fostering cultural exchange between Pakistan and Turkiye.
